On the God of Fear and Hunger

IN THEIR ETERNAL BLISS OF CHAOS AND LOVE

the presence of Gro-goroth withered,
watered in rivulets until the last
of Sylvian’s drop was salt in deserted cups;

and the LIFE-IN-DEATH horror
of Fear and Hunger festered putridly,
purely as nails of abandonment
still, unmoved, grasping at their backs:

fed now on the cusp of abyss-inversion
upon which Sulfur rekindles, filling
its shape with the borders of STILLNESS.

Ascension, the Machines, watered in rivulets
until their last drop poisoned Ninush’s crops;
until the god of Fear and Hunger
the GOD’S LIMIT again is made into,

and all else is not.
